Fungal morphotextiles explores a visual and speculative shift from traditional industrial textile manufacturing to a living, adaptive material paradigm. Rather than being woven, stitched or extruded, these mycelium-based fabrics emerge through guided fungal growth, integrating biological intelligence with material design. This selection of experiments, imagine clothing as no longer a static object but a dynamic system that evolves in response to its environment.
Work inspired by some of my Master students BMC group work last year. A visual exploration in biomimicry in clothing and especially some hats.
